How to be a pillar for others
Nothing is more important than showing up for yourself.
Nothing.
We recently experienced a death in the family.
It was sudden, it was not expected.
This person was a rock, the steadfast presence everyone in their orbit relied on.
A pillar.
When we experience a loss - any kind of loss - it can be a shock to the system.
The key is to be gentle with ourselves and feel what we need to feel.
To be with what we need to be with, inviting whatever needs to flow through, to flow through.
We become more practiced at being with loss when we can be with ourselves.
When you show up for yourself you become a pillar for others to lean on.
Ask me how I know.
How do you show up for yourself so you can be that pillar?
